Syrinx 1,2 and 3 are part of a series of carvings of starlings wings using reclaimed Jelutong - a tropical and endangered hardwood primarily used for architectural model making. Syrinx is the word given to the vocal organ of a bird, allowing them to produce two sounds simultaneously.
